What are Mani-Coats?
Mani-Coats are clear protective wallets designed to keep your Manicure Roulette cards clean, dry and in perfect condition while you work.
Think of them as a working jacket for your cards - creating a barrier between your tools, products and your deck.
They help prolong the lifespan of your cards and reduce the need for replacements over time.
How do they work?
Simply insert your selected card(s) into the wallet while you’re working.
Each Mani-Coat is slightly larger than our cards, allowing you to:
• Easily insert and remove cards
• Store one or two cards back-to-back
• Work directly near your cards without risking damage
They’re designed so you keep your cards on your workstation while you create - protecting your cards from day-to-day exposure.
What are they resistant to?
Mani-Coats® are designed to protect against:
• Water
• Most gel and nail products
• Most non-bleach cleaning agents
• Light splashes of acetone
They act as a protective barrier, preventing products from reaching the card inside - as long as liquids do not enter from the open edge.
Important: Acetone & product exposure
While Mani-Coats are acetone-resistant, they are not fully acetone-proof.
This means:
• Small splashes can be tolerated and wiped away
• Prolonged or repeated exposure will damage the plastic
• The surface may become cloudy, weakened or thin over time
This is due to how acetone interacts with plastic - it alters the material structure.
If a wallet becomes compromised, it should be replaced to continue protecting your cards.
Care & usage guidance
To get the most from your Mani-Coats:
• Wipe off any products (especially acetone) as soon as possible
• Avoid leaving chemicals sitting on the surface
• Do not over-stretch or pull the wallet
• Check regularly for clouding, thinning or damage
If the wallet shows signs of wear, we recommend replacing it.
Are Mani-Coats reusable?
Yes - Mani-Coats are designed to be reused over time.
However, they are considered a consumable product, meaning they may need replacing depending on:
• Frequency of use
• Exposure to acetone and products
• General handling
With careful use, most nail techs can expect them to last 12–18 months or longer.
