What are Nail Guides?
The Paint Cure Peel Nail Guides allow you to create free-hand, made-to-measure gel nail art in advance, outside of appointments.
Each guide has gridded nail tracing space in a specific nail size, shape and length - so when you create your design, you know it will fit the nail perfectly.
This allows you to paint, cure and store your designs ahead of time, ready to apply in seconds during appointments.
What’s included?
Each Nail Guides Kit contains:
• 15 × Nail Guides (sizes 00–13)
• All guides are in one selected shape and length
• Supplied in a cardboard storage box
You’ll choose your shape and length when purchasing.
A free digital training handbook & guide is emailed with every purchase - giving you everything you need to use the system effectively, troubleshoot and get the best results.
How does it work?
The system follows a simple workflow:
Measure - Use the NailSizer to measure nail width and length over the finished base. Use our NailLogs to record client measurements.
Match - Use the Digital GuideGrid to select the correct Nail Guide size. This is emailed upon purchase of any Nail Guide products.
Create - Paint your design onto the Art Film using the Nail Guide to trace.
Cure & Store - Cure your design, label it using the Art Film Labels (so you know which hand and finger the design belongs to) and store using Protective Sheets. Use our System Binder for professional and efficient storage.
Peel & Apply - Apply your design directly to the nail when ready.

Nail Guides are what make the Paint Cure Peel system bespoke and repeatable.
They allow you to:

• "Grippy' static-surface that keeps Art Films in place.
If needed, you can adapt the guide slightly using the grid - giving you full control over the final fit.

Both systems work in a similar way - but serve different purposes:

Many nail techs use both together -depending on the style of nail art they’re creating.
How do I choose the right option?
Each kit is based on a single shape and length, available in:
• Shapes: Almond, Ballerina, Sharp Square, Square, Stiletto
• Lengths: Short (23mm → 15.5mm long), Medium (28.5mm → 21mm long), Long (35mm → 27mm) and Extra Long (46mm → 31mm long).
You only need to select the shape and length that matches your clients - all sizes (00–13) are included within the kit.
How do I measure my clients nails?
Measure the width and length of every nail using the NailSizer, with the base enhancement or plain set in place - this ensures the product thickness and nail apex is taken into account.

This means your items are created specifically for you once your order is placed.
For this reason, we’re unable to offer returns, refunds or exchanges on made to order products, unless your item arrives faulty or damaged.

Common Questions
Do I need all shapes and lengths?
No - most nail techs start with the shapes and lengths they use most often, then expand over time if needed.
What if the client is between sizes?
We recommend sizing down.
You can also use the 1mm grid on the guide to make small adjustments for a more precise fit.
Do I have to measure every time?
No - once measured, you can record your client’s sizes using the NailLog and reuse them for future appointments - provided the nail length stays the same.
Can I use these without the rest of the system?
No - you'll need Art Films & Protective Sheets in order to use the Nail Guides.
Is this suitable for beginners?
