• Place Art Film over the guide and paint your design
• Label each design for placement using the Art Film Labels
• Cure, then store using Protective Sheet

What are Art Films & Protective Sheets?
Art Films and Protective Sheets are a core component of the Paint Cure Peel system.
They’re designed to allow you to create gel nail art in advance, store it safely, and apply it in seconds during appointments.
Art Films & Protective Sheets are essential in order to use any Paint Cure Peel Guides, and are completely reusable.
Whats makes our Art Films different?
The Paint Cure Peel Art Film is a transparent, gel-compatible material selected specifically for this system and use.
It’s designed to:
• Allow UV/LED light to pass through for proper curing
• Provide a smooth, controlled painting surface
• Enable clean, reliable peeling once cured
• Can be reused numerous times
• Can be sanitised with Isopropyl Alcohol.
Every detail - from the surface coating to the sizing - is built for consistency in a working salon environment.
Our Art Films are not like the DIY acetate sheets seen on social media - they're a purpose-built transparent film, with a specialised coating for easy peeling.
What are Protective Sheets for?
Protective Sheets are semi-transparent vellum layers designed to:
• Prevent dust and debris sticking to your designs
• Protect your artwork during storage
• Keep multiple designs organised and ready to use
They allow you to batch-create designs in advance and store them safely until your client appointment.
How does Nail Guide sizing work?
Each Nail Guide Kit includes 15 Nail Guides sizes 00–13 in your chosen shape and length.
Each Nail Guide is defined by Width (W) & Length (L). The Lengths (L) of individual nail guides range depending on guide size.
The width and lengths are identified by the Guide Number, and stay consistent across all shapes. Example: if your client is a Long 00, they'll be the same guide size in any shape.
What if I’m between sizes?
• Size down for best fit
• Use the 1mm grid to adjust
• Customise guides with a permanent pen if needed
This allows for a fully bespoke fit.
What products can I use?
Gel Nail Products (recommended)
The system is designed primarily for gel.
Our Art Films allow gel to:
• Cure properly
• Peel cleanly
• Be worn safely
• No base coat required
Other products
Some nail techs also use:
• Nail polish
• Watercolours
• Nail art paints
• Peel bases
Technique adjustments may be needed depending on the product. For example, none-curing products may require a gel base coat or "peely" base.
Product Compatibility

While the system works with almost any gel nail product - we've tested a lot in-house, we cannot guarantee compatibility with every brand.
