WHAT IS MANICURE ROULETTE?
Manicure Roulette is a card-based decision tool created for professional nail techs to use with their clients.
It’s designed for those moments when a client can’t decide what they want - or says the classic: "I don’t know… you decide."
The cards are organised into themed decks such as Art Theme, Colour Palette, Nail Shape, Finish, Detail, Foundation, Nail Formula and more. The deck names will depend on the system you choose.
Simply shuffle the decks, draw as many cards as you like, and use the result as the inspiration for your nail look.
HOW DOES IT WORK IN SALON?
Many nail techs use Manicure Roulette during consultations - when a client isn’t sure what they want.
You can shuffle the decks and draw cards yourself, or invite your client to draw them.
The cards provide a structured starting point for the nail look, making it quicker and easier to choose a manicure direction or aspect.
WHERE DO I START?
Manicure Roulette currently offers three systems - choose which is best suited to you.
[1] The Original System
The original Manicure Roulette nail tool with the widest range of creative options. This system is the original concept launched in April 2022.
For this system The Original Game is the best starting place providing 5 base-decks, a wide selection of cards and 99 cards in total. It works out the most affordable cost per card.
You can however begin your collection with Expansion Packs.
[2] The In Bloom System
A dedicated floral system for nail techs and clients who love floral nail art, while still wanting the freedom to create something completely their own.
For this system, The In Bloom Game is the best starting place, providing 3 decks and 45 cards in total. It works out the most affordable cost per card.
You can use In Bloom by itself, combine it with compatible cards from The Original System or begin your collection with In Bloom Expansion Packs.
[3] The Minimalist System
A refined system designed for nail techs who prefer clean, cohesive and minimal manicure styles.
For this system Minimalist is the best starting place providing 2 base-decks, a wide selection of cards and 26 cards in total.
You can however begin your collection with Expansion Packs.
[4] The Nail Formula System
A system built for those days where creativity is dry or you simply want the nail design already created for you, complete with the method of creation.
This system is newly launched and currently in themed volumes - you can begin your collection with whatever volume you choose.
DO I NEED TO BE AN EXPERT IN NAIL ART?
Not at all.
Manicure Roulette isn’t about advanced nail art skills - it’s about helping you make manicure decisions faster and provide original creativity.
You can keep the results simple or take them in a more artistic direction.
CAN I USE IT IF I DON'T OFFER NAIL ART?
Yes.
Many nail techs use Manicure Roulette purely to help decide things like shape, colour combinations or simple design details.
You can adapt the cards to suit the services you offer.
DO I NEED A STARTER SYSTEM TO USE EXPANSION PACKS?
No - expansion packs can be used on their own.
However, we recommend starting with one of the starter systems, as they offer the best value per card and provide a more complete decision-making setup.
Expansion packs are designed to build on the Manicure Roulette concept by introducing new themes, creative directions and design ideas.
CAN CLIENTS PICK THE CARDS THEMSELVES?
Yes.
Many nail techs invite clients to draw cards during consultations. It’s a fun way to involve them in the design process while still keeping appointments efficient.
CAN I CHOOSE TO NOT FOLLOW THE CARDS EXACTLY?
Of course.
The cards are designed as a starting point for creativity, not strict rules. You can follow them exactly or use them as inspiration for your own design direction.
